1. Choosing by Age and Height
Choose by height, not just age. Where sizes overlap, the larger kart gives more years of use.

3. The BFR System Explained
All five karts we sell use BERG's BFR hub. The rider controls everything with the pedals.
Go
Pedal forwards to go.
Brake
Pedal backwards to brake.
Reverse
Once stopped, pedal backwards again to reverse.

What BERG go kart is best for a 3-year-old?
The BERG Buddy, which suits ages 3–8 and heights of 90–130cm. We sell the Buddy B.Orange (€299) and the Buddy Lua (€319), the same kart in pink and green.
Should I choose by age or by height?
By height. The age ranges are a guide, but the height range decides whether a child fits the kart. Where sizes overlap, the larger kart gives more years of use.
Which kart can an adult ride?
The BERG BFR XL Pure (€595), which suits riders from age 5 to adult who are 120cm tall and up.
How do BERG go karts brake?
All five karts we sell use BERG's BFR hub: pedal forwards to go, pedal backwards to brake, and pedal backwards again once stopped to reverse.
How much is delivery on a go kart?
Nothing. Go-karts are always delivered free, to Limerick and the rest of Ireland. Delivery takes 48 hours on models in stock, otherwise typically 7 to 10 days.
